The game of corn hole derives its name from the primary equipment used: corn hole bags and cornhole boards. Traditionally, the bags were filled with corn kernels and thrown through the boards hole, hence the term "cornhole." While modern cornhole bags may be filled with synthetic materials, the name has remained synonymous with the game. We fill our cornhole bags with whole corn sourced from local Australian growers.

Cornhole, also known as corn toss is a popular lawn game played with two sets of boards and bags. Players take turns throwing bags at the opposing board, aiming to land them on the board or in the hole. Points are scored based on where the bags land, with the goal of reaching or exceeding a predetermined score to win the cornhole standard game. 1. Two boards placed 27 feet apart (front edge to front edge for regulation play). or stand 27 feet in front of a single board.

2. Eight corn toss bags (four bags for each team), typically filled with corn.

3. Each board has a circular hole (6 inches in diameter) centered towards the top.

Objective:

1. The objective is to score points by tossing bags into the hole or landing them on the board.

2. Scoring is based on where the bags land: 3 points for bags in the hole, and 1 point for bags on the board.

Gameplay:

1. Two teams each take turns throwing bags at the opposite board.

2. Players alternate throwing bags until all are thrown.

3. After each round, points are tallied based on bag placement (in the hole or on the board).

4. Cancelled points: Points from opposing teams cancel each other out. For example, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 3 points in a round, Team A earns 2 points for that round (5-3=2).

5. The team that scores the most points in a round adds their total points to their overall score for the game.

Winning:

1. The first team to reach or exceed 21 points is declared the winner.

2. Winning by exactly 21 points is common, but some variations in cornhole tournaments require teams to reach 21 exactly (not exceeding) to win.

Additional Rules:

1. Play to board distance can be decreased to make the gameplay easier.

2. Bags that hit the ground or bounce off the board before landing are considered "foul" and are not scored.

3. Players can knock opponents' bags off the board, potentially scoring points or preventing opponents from scoring.

4. Players can agree on additional house rules, such as point values, distance between boards, and foul definitions for their specific game.
